Fleeing Boko Haram

Girls walk through sand dunes in the village of Guidan Kaji near the border with Nigeria on the outskirts of Diffa, Niger on February 13, 2016. Displaced people from Niger and Nigeria are sheltering in the village after fleeing at the nearby border. Many of the families had witnessed attacks by Boko Haram in their villages or had fled because of other villages around them being attacked. Caritas undertook a distribution of sleeping covers, mosquito nets, pots and money transfers.
