Fleeing Boko Haram

Shadows of children are cast on drying grain at a camp of internally displaced people near the village of Kouble by the side of the road on the highway outside of Diffa, Niger on February 17, 2016. The camp is made up of displaced people and refugees from villages along the border between Niger and Nigeria and who fled attacks from Boko Haram. Many of those who fled were farmers along the nearby border. The men will return during the day to tend fields in their villages that have not been burnt or pillaged by Boko Haram.
