Children at a house constructed with the support of Action Aid in the village of Arbab Obhayo, Thatta District, Sindh Province, Pakistan on June 11, 2012. During the 2010 and 2011 floods many families from the village were displaced due to the flood waters which rose and destroyed their homes. Action Aid, a DEC member constructed 50 homes for members of the village, 30 of those with separate bathrooms. 50 families received wheat seed and others received goats and chickens. The population are predominantly rural labourers in the surrounding fields or tend livestock such as buffalo or goats.
